Flowers and Vintage Flickr Group - Spring Flowers

There is something very special with spring flowers. Here is a quote by the English florist and event designer Shane Connolly where he describes that feeling:

"Spring, as it gathers pace, releases wave after wave of sensory delights and combines them with an innocent natural prettiness. I always try to capture that pure, unsophisticated charm when I use spring flowers and plants at home. But, above all, I relish the sense of excitement and anticipation that spring's growing bulbs and opening blossoms give me at the start of each year."

All images are from my Flickr group Flowers and Vintage - they all link back to Flickr and the photographer's blog or web site.

You are welcome to join the Flickr group Flowers and Vintage if you are interested. It's easy and I have very few "rules" - that you need to follow - as long as the image has flowers and vintage you can submit your images.

I'll be back later in the week with some more floral posts.

xoxo Ingrid

Lovely, the lilies of the valley with the lace on the background, but I am going for the beautiful cat in the cupboard.
