I visited the Royal Horticultural Society London Flower Show with my friend yesterday.
It was a riot of autumn colour. Pumpkins in all kinds of shapes and beautiful colours. Apples i all shades of red, yellow and green. Shiny peppers in orange, green, red, purple and yellow. Dahlias, Asters, Chrysanthemums and autumn foliage in huge amounts.
My favorite was a stall created by the National Association of Flower Arrangement Society.
I usually don't like overly complicated flower arrangements but I did like this one. What impressed me was the mixture of flowers, foliage, berries, seed heads, fruit and branches. These arrangements were incredible in their abundance of vibrant colours, texture, form and contrast.
