Happy Weekend!

A little bit of green budding life from some very dry looking but beautiful crocus bulbs.
Right now the buds are all very tightly wrapped up and looking charming but hesitant.
It is understandable as the Northern hemisphere seem to be wrapped up in much colder weather than usual and a blanket of snow.
We all have to make our way through a few months of this. But it is soon Christmas and soon after that a new year and then it will be spring!
Until that elusive spring shows it's face a good place to stay warm is under a blanket. The best place is probably in front of the fire with a good book in one hand and something hot and delicious to drink in the other.

Happy Weekend Everybody!

I know it might not be the same ofr some - but snow outside sounds so amazing for me coming from hot, sunny SA:) Anyways, these bulbs look like hold many promises... hope you have a 'blooming' weekend!

Dear Ingrid, I do find that having some pot-grown bulbs around the house in winter is a great tonic over the dreary months until Spring arrives. Your Crocus bulbs look very stylish in their black glossy container.

Dear Ingrid,

we have a lot of snow, too and I´m siiting on the sofa, with something hot to drink and a very warm central heating....
Wish you a great winter sunday,
best wishes,

That deep blue bowl of crocus bulbs will soon be crowned with colors!

I've just started some paperwhite narcissus bulbs, and am trying to be patient with them. They are slow to "get going."

Best wishes!

Hi Ingrid
This picture is so peaceful, I love the touch of dried oranges with the plant. A bit of symmetry here with us having to go into hibernation too. Love your work <3
Have a great Sunday...

I feel the need to go out and buy something to flower indoors over Christmas. I miss looking at a flower at this time of year.
