CHRYSANTHEMUMS AND PANSIES

A gorgeous colour mix of pink and dark purple. It is the same old chrysanthemums as in my last post. They just kept on going and I did not want to to put them on the compost heap just yet. Amazing value for money! So I took the opportunity to style and photograph a few more pictures. This time I have put the flowers in an vintage yellow and green enamelled bowl made by Kockums in Sweden sometime during the 1940's. Additional plate with green stripe, some old green buttons and a green darning mushroom. A bit of nostalgia!

****************************

Lite nostalgi!

Dear Ingrid, What very unusual and effective colour combinations. I do enjoy the way you style your things, always introducing the unexpected to give that extra edge!

It's great to see those mums still breathing! And your styling continues to be so imaginative.

Well, I left a comment on your prior post saying I would go and find some mums to arrange for myself. I have been around the various flower sources in my neighborhood ever since, and ... have yet to find any that really looked the perfect shape/color.

My quest will continue. You have inspired me anew. xo
