RED CHERRIES AND PINK ROSES

Sometimes you have to take a little break from the gardening and sit down for a few minutes.
Even better if the break consists of some food!
A few delicious red cherries will hit the spot!
*****
The ruffled pink rose is a rose called Rosa 'Compassion'.
It is an English modern climbing Hybrid Tea rose.
It has its good and bad sides!!
*****
I am not being quite honest with you here! I am still pretending it is summer.
This picture was taken yesterday which was a gorgeous sunny day.
Today it is cold and it has been raining all day!
Well, I am still being hopeful!!
************************************
*****

Your table looks lovely with the pitcher and the pretty tablecloth. Hope the weather will improve soon. We had a lot of rain last week, but luckily it is dry and warm now. I hope it will continue for a while!

Enjoy your evening!

lieve groet, Madelief

Dear Ingrid, Summer really has arrived here in Budapest with temperatures in the 80s every day and mountains of red cherries. They are one of my favourite fruits and MUST be eaten when in season for they will disappear thereafter. How different from England where strawberries and almost evrything else appear year round.

Alas, dear Ingrid, Hybrid Teas are not to my liking.

HI Ingrid!

Been looking in on your blog a few times now - it's lovely! Your summer table is beautiful and really DOES look like summer!!!!! One can almost feel the heat!!! But I know what you mean (I am up in Suffolk) - crazy, the English 'summers'... But I am not giving up hope just yet....

Kind regards and a good week!!

Nicola

Beautiful colours can touch me really deeply and these reds and roses on your beautiful table do so! Sometimes I try to have some more neutral colourschemes in our home, but I always get back to bright or pastel tones :)
Yes, I was already a visitor of your blog, but mostly a silent one :D
Best regards and thank you for your kind visit, Marjolijn

Underbart! Och rosa dessutom!;-)
Jag blev särskilt förtjust i den vackra kannan! (Förutom bilden/stillebenet i sig!)
