It is Thanksgiving tomorrow and a warm orange colour feels very appropriate.
Exotic and colourful beauties fit right in at this time of year.
When I saw this plant at the local nursery I just could not resist it.
It is called Solanum caspicastrum originally from South America. It is also called Winter Cherry.
The large round berries start off green then turns yellow and ends up a vivid orange.
I would like to wish everybody a very
Happy Thanksgiving!

In the Netherlands we don't celebrate Thanksgiving, it's an onknown tradition here. According to information on the Internet it is a tradition for the whole family, with lots of food and always on the fourth Thursday in November. I didn't know that.
I wish you a very happy Thanksgiving! Warm regards, Ingrid
Happy thanksgiving dear! These are beautiful images. Hugs!
Dear Ingrid, You are so right that these shades of amber really do seem to sum up Thanksgiving. Although we do not have Thanksgiving Day as such in the UK I think, as obviously you do, that it seems very appropriate to give thanks and reflect at this time of year. Have a happy time!!
Hi Ingrid,
Your colourful display of glass and flowers looks great. Wish you and your family a happy Thanksgiving!

Ha en bra "thanksgiving"-helg. Här är julfirandet i full gång (nästan)! Affärerna flödar över med juldekorationer julblommor och julmusik.
Happy thanksgiving you. We don't celebrate that in Finland, I always thought it is an american thing.
I have once bought that lovely winter cherry just because of the color of cherries.
It has been snow storm for two days now, You could not believe your eyes if you would come here now. Thank god I have fireplace to keep warm.
Kram
Så härligt med färska tomater.
Riktigt fina och färgrika bilder visar du ochså.
Hoppas att du får en fin Thanksgiving.
Här har vi minus 8 och det blåser rätt så mycket så det känns så kallt.
