I spent a very nice day with my daughter at the Country Living Christmas Fair.
There are over 400 stalls with exhibitors from all over the UK.
They have great handmade gifts and decorations. There is also a large food section with tasty treats.
I bought some wonderful ribbons to use for Christmas.
The wider ones are from Jane Means.

My daughter bought some very charming hand made wooden Christmas decorations.
She will bring them with her to South Africa to give as little presents.
They are made by the lovely lady Julia Thompson.
Julia, who is from Westra in Wales, was thrilled to hear that her decorations were going to South Africa as presents and very generously added a few extra for free.

What a fantastic way to spend the day!
Ingrid, I liked reading about your experience at the CL Christmas Fair. I still remember attending some of the very first CL Fairs, back in the mid-1990's. What a showcase these fairs were for emerging entrepreneurs on the British stage of that era.
Wonderful that your daughter will be taking some beautiful creations back to South Africa. And those ribbons look pretty good, too. I know that you will be applying them with your usual artistry.
xo
Good Morning Ingrid!!!
You brought some beautiful ribbons back!! We went to the fair too - what an inspirational day, very enjoyable...only thing I would say, I wish they would restrict tickets a little- my friend and I were getting very bothered and irritated in the end - just that little bit too crowded....Still, we say this every year and then every year we go bal :)
Have a good week!!
Nicola

Hi Ingrid,
Oh, I wish I lived nearby London, so that I could visit the fair. It must have been fun to visit the fair with your daughter. Unfortunately my daughters don't like visiting fairs that much yet. Hopefully this will change in time :-)!
Lieve groet & happy evening,
Madelief

Åh vilka härliga band. Snart är det dags för jul och det ska bli så härligt med allt vacker, alla dofter och allt pynt :) Min lilla vovve är något bättre. Tack för omtanken. Kram Johanna
