I usually don't feature fashion on my blog - but our daughter who is a make-up artist, mostly working in film and television but she also does fashion shoots, pointed me in the direction of Chanel's latest Haute Couture Spring - Summer 2015 collection - because she thought I would like all the flowers.
The fashion show takes place in a spectacular structure that is made to look like a very large conservatory or greenhouse. It's round and in the middle are lots of flowers - but I'm not going to tell you what happens as that is part of the show!!
The designer Karl Lagerfeld says in an interview that he was inspired this time by flowers both in colour and form so a lot of the clothes have added mostly fabric flowers.
Here is another short video showing the flowers in more detail.
I love a lot of the other little details as well - the make-up, the plaited hair finished with a flower, the loosely knitted beanie hats and the flat boots - yes, no heels!
What a crazy world - but so inspirational and so much fun!
Have a Wonderful Floral Day!
See you later in the week.
