Grace Kelly - Style Icon is the name of an exhibition that is on at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. It is on until 26 September 2010.The exhibition shows her dresses, jewellery, sunglasses, shoes, gloves, hats and bags. As well as movie posters, photographs and her Oscar statue that she got for Best Actress in The Country Girl 1955. Her more well known films are High Society with Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra; and the Hitchcock movie Rear Window with James Stewart.
She was the beautiful American actress who married a prince and became a real princess.
In those days many young girls dream!

Utställningen visar hennes kläder, smycken, solglasögon, skor, handskar, hattar och väskor. Grace Kelly is a bit of an era icon, a la Jackie O (even when she was Jackie Kennedy.)
I once heard a story that after GK became Princess Grace, there was no circulation of the film Rear Window, because it indicated that the character she portrayed might just have know the James Stewart character very well.
Isn't it amazing how history marches on, even in the cultural/arts parade?
