The Flower Council of Holland do a campaign that they call 'Houseplant of the Month' - where they every month will highlighting a particular plant.
In the month of May they are featuring Hibiscus as Houseplant of the Month.
Indoor plants are popular again and green plants are featured more and more in interior magazines and on blogs.
Urban Jungle Bloggers are very much on target with this trend where Igor Josif and Judith de Graaff are doing a great job promoting and encouraging more green plants in the home.

I think hibiscus is such a happy looking flower. They are a welcome addition to my garden every year.
It's fun to look around this site. I think they have already completed the whole yearcalendar with the plant of the month.
This hibiscus has beautiful flowers. The salmon-like color whith copper is very beautiful!
Have a nice week!
Love, Gerry
Ingrid, the yellow hibiscus would add a happy spark to the great indoors. I must tell you that the orca tulips really stole my heart. What drama!

Hibiskus är jättefin, jag gillar de rosa och vita bäst. Brukar dock inte bli långvariga hos mig. Har en nu som jag haft i över ett år, och såg till min stora glädje att den har en massa knoppar nu, man tackar!
