Looking From Below

Taking photographs is a very pleasurable activity, it can easily become part of your life and it keeps the creative juices going.
It is very easy to take hundreds of photographs with a digital camera without any extra cost.
They used to say that the camera never lied. Today most photographs are altered. Programs like Photoshop has changed all that.
To document the life around you with a camera can become an obsession. I think a very nice one! To look at the world though a viewfinder makes you focus on what is around you. I also think that the more you photograph the better you get at it. I love to look at my subjects from every possible or impossible angel. In other words having a lot of fun!

Dear blogging friends - have a wonderful weekend.

 Ingrid xx

  1. I agree with you, not really crazy for the pictures being altered these days. I like everything to look exactly as it was taken, but it's the meaning behind the picture that matters the most and what you are expressing. Like you just did as always with these beautiful tulips and another way to look at them.
    Have a wonderful weekend Ingrid,

  11. Ingrid, you've got a wonderful angle from which to view those pretty tulips!

I do agree with you that photography is terrific fun, and there's not much need to electronically retouch anything that we find, with our cameras and our eyes. xo

SOOC ("Straight out of the camera") funkar inte alls längre om man fotar digitalt.
Önskar dig en riktigt skön helg!

  14. Dear Ingrid, As I am sure you are aware, I do not have a camera and am completely in awe of people such as you who are able to create such magical images. But I must admit that I am of the view that many people are just 'snap happy' and pay insufficient attention to the composition of the image which, for me is what makes a photograph special.

  18. This is a terrific image, Ingrid – I love the graphic aspect of it and the bright colors! Tulips are photographed so much that it takes a lot of creativity to come up with a striking image. This one certainly is! Have a great Sunday. – g
