Tulips continue to grow in the vase. You have a few choices:
- Cut the stems a little bit shorter allowing for some growth in the vase.
- Trim the stems every two days - when you change the water in the vase - to keep them the same length.
- Leave the tulips to grow, bend over and do their own thing - only trim the stems the absolute minimum.
Tulips are always beautiful - long or short!
Have a Wonderful Floral Day!

Hi Ingrid,
ReplyDeleteThat's the beauty of tulips, they are so fickle.
The one time they grow out of the pot, other times they stay upright motionless or they bloom so exuberantly that they are completely worn out at the end of the bloom.
we have a very sunny day today, I hope you have also a beautiful day!
With love, Gerry
Yellow such a happy colour. Short or tall they soothe the soul...

O yes, I like bend over tulips which do their own thing, this all for a more natural look.
ReplyDeleteA lovely photo Ingrid and thank you for your tutorial!

Those yellow tulips are very sweet. It's interesting that they continue to grow, which is great because we can cut the ends without worrying about finding a new vase. Have a lovely weekend Ingrid.
ReplyDeleteYou are so very right. Tulips are always beautiful. Yours are fantastic.
ReplyDeleteHappy days
