I had so much fun putting this group of images together. I was looking for 'unusual containers' - and I found plenty among the images on my Flickr group Flowers and Vintage.
I found examples of jugs both large and small, coffee cups and tea mugs, all kinds of enamelled containers, baskets of all shapes and sizes as well as teapots.
A basket would have to be lined with plastic if you are going to plant something in it or if you are just using it as an outer container you will have to use a vase or jar of some kind to hold the water before placing it in the basket.
The sky is the limit when it comes to what you can use - so look through your cupboards and see what you can find - instead of a traditional vase - anything goes as long as it holds water.

Thanks for visiting and I would love to know what you think of all the different containers.
Till very soon!

Fint! Just gamla kannor och såssnipor har många gånger en sån fin form och blir perfekta vaser.
ReplyDeleteKram
This is lovely, I like arranging in different containers and china so much. I certainly will join this flickr group in the near future, the only problem is I have a constant lack of time to do all things I want to do.
ReplyDeleteThey are SO beautiful, I couldn't pick a favorite!
ReplyDeleteLove the variety of styles. Inspiring me to try out some of those ideas soon. xx
