Creativity and Inspiration

Having fun playing with cut flowers and different backgrounds.

Freesia on a machine embroidered background.

Three dark purple tulips on a lace fabric.

Freesia on a wide piece of lace.

The same dark tulips on painted wood and the last one is freesia on a vintage floral plate.

Have a very happy day!

xoxo Ingrid

  1. What a great perspective about pinterest.

Love that website, no doubt - it really goes back to how each individual respect others' work.

I always try to use the permalink when pinning - so it goes back to the actual/ original post instead of just the homepage.

I'll be following your pins :)

  2. Blogging takes so many time, it's better I will not start a my own pinterest board :).

I also put the name of my blog on all my photo's, a long time ago I found my pictures in a webshop on internet, used to make cards, without any permission!

    With love, Ingrid

  3. Hi Ingrid,

Pinterest is a lovely initiative, but I am afraid not for me. Blogging takes up so much time already. I don't think I have any time left. However, I do enjoy the beautiful photo's others have pinned. Some are amazing! Yours are always beautiful too!!!

    Happy new week,

    Madelief x

  6. I love the pictures here on your blog. I found my way here via Georgianna Lane. I love interest and can't see why people want to steal and claim for their own. I just love finding the inspiration there. Keep up the good work here!

  7. Ingrid, not only do I admire your beautiful styling, still life compositions and photographs, I equally admire your way of expressing yourself verbally.

Pinterest is certainly attracting lots of interest and many comments. Your wise words are very helpful to anyone considering pinning.

  8. Hi Ingrid! I agree! I'm not a photographer but even though I have on my sidebar not to remove photos etc. that doesn't stop anyone from removing them. I place my name onto the picture too. Your pictures are beautiful as always but I do agree with some of your comments I just don't have the time for pinning!
    Hugs Rosemary...xoxo

  9. Hi Ingrid, these images are divine! That fuchsia/magenta color is so energizing! And we've already discussed Pinterest. And your boards are gorgeous! My bio and boards are sadly empty. Perhaps I'll have some leisure time on my next plane ride. :)

  10. Ignoring who has the copyright is ... I get so angry. You take as artistic images. The way you use a few flowers and use the background to föstärka the feeling you want to communicate. I wish you a wonderful week! Zinnia

  13. Hej Ingrid
thank you for your lovely comment.
Back to Home Swede Home since Monday evening.
    These are beautiful images.
I have had a pinterest account but have only just started using it...it's a bit scary for me...not sure that I like all these strange people looking at what 'takes my fancy' if you get my meaning lol!
A blog I don't think is so open to so many or is it?
Well I may hop on over to look at more of your lovely images on interest.
    Have a lovely evening
    LOVE PEACE enJOY! PINNING

  14. Hi Ingrid,
I deleted my Pinterest just last week. So sad, but after reading article after article about copyright infringement issues and the inconsistencies between Pinterest's 'About' information & their terms of use... well, it's quite a mess.
I've also deleted any blog posts that I wrote about Pinterest as I do not wish to encourage others to use it. I think Pinterest is in for some major changes and/or legal problems.

  15. What a beautiful series of images, Ingrid.
It is snowing here right now, so these are extra special to me!

I like Pinterest a lot, but like you, I really feel that the use of images is a problem, and one that I am not sure can be avoided altogether. :-( It's sad that some simply cannot "play well with others!"

Sending you wishes for a beautiful weekend, my Friend!
    xo.

  18. I have deleted my pinterest account, people might still use photos anyway but I least I'm not giving them away for free... :)

Nice photos also in this latest post!

  19. An interesting read. I have not joined Pinterest but know that many of my photos have been pinned. It does pose a dilemma for bloggers. Do we need to watermark each image, should we upload at such a poor resolution that no one would want to pin our work, but then we want to share our work so as it does look good.

Your photos are beautiful and wonderfully composed, love them.
