In some parts of the world it is still Narnia, a perpetual snowy landscape.
Most of us would like to wrap up warm, hibernate and dream of spring blossoms and balmy summer evenings.
Most of us would like to wrap up warm, hibernate and dream of spring blossoms and balmy summer evenings.
We have the shortest day of the year behind us but the days are still short and the evenings and nights are long.
I think it is important to try to light up the dark.
Flickering candles, crackling open fires even electric lights will make the dark a bit lighter.
A bit of colour also helps to chase the blues away.
Old vintage glass bottles and glass candle holders make a wonderful combination.
The way it reflects the light and all the different colours is magical.

I love the blue ones. It so wonderful that we are getting towards to lightening times but it is still too dark. It has snowing here so haven't see the sun many many days. I just wait my holiday on February we are going to Las Palmas for two weeks to say hello to the sun:)
