I am sooo glad other people use random ...Hi Ingrid,<br />I am sooo glad other people use random containers as "vases" too. I find regular vases very common and not inspiring. I think a vessel should be part of the flower arrangement itself. I have to admit, I used a very beautiful and odd shaped basket that was made in Thailand as a "trash can" in our study (to disguise its real purpose), but then one day, I decided to use it as a "vessel" for a flower arrangement. I loved the way the arrangement turned out. I find it fun to use containers for purposes other than what they are intended for. I like to do that in my garden too.
