Colour Story

You never know what will inspire you. This time it was the beautiful colours of the fruit and vegetable at the supermarket.  This little "Colour Story" is made up of some orange pumpkins, an Acorn squash, a few red chillies and some gorgeous purple aubergine.
The brown background is a rusty very large bowl that lives permanently in my garden. I also sneaked in two Victorian terracotta tiles.

The floral delights consists of a large orange-brown Chrysanthemum and some lovely purple heather.

*********

I covered the tabletop with an old kelim rug in beautifully faded colours. It turned out to be an interesting contrast to the very bright red shiny chillies.

********
